Our Lord Jesus was very aware of who He was and why He came, and was absolutely committed to fulfilling His purpose. He did marvelous things because of His consciousness of who He was and why He came. His whole life was in pursuit of His purpose. He declared in John 6:38; "For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me." But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:57.
In these last days, there is so much going on orchestrated by Satan to influence, deceive and sway the nations, but the Lord has given us His word and as long as we stay focused on it and walk in the light of its truth, we will be unshaken and unperturbed.
One thing you must do is to be victory conscious all the time. Your faith is the victory that overcomes the world (I John 5:4). Every challenge you face is an imminent testimony of victory. So refuse to feed fear into your spirit or to give attention deeply to the things that pertain to this earth. Take your mind off things that don't produce eternal results and stay focused on the things the Lord has asked you to do. Not only that, keep doing more and more for the kingdom, making greater impact as we await the soon return of the Lord who recognizes and rewards all we do in His Name.
Remember that as a minister of God, your relationship with Jesus Christ is the most important thing in your life. You don’t need to have the best connections; you just need to be connected to Him.
