A WORD FOR YOU - INCREASE IN GRACE
There is a general definition of grace that a lot of people are familiar with, “unmerited favour”, but this is a limited definition; grace means much more than this.
The word "grace" comes from the Greek word "charis" and it means the outworking or outward reflection of an inward divine influence. It is outward working of an inward power. This means that the power of God in you is released in greater measure, and reveals itself on the outside. This is much in the same way as when the wind blows, you don't see the wind but you see the effects of the wind.
When the grace of God or its divine influence works out within a man’s spirit, there are things are revealed on the outside which you see outwardly, which are;
- Grace brings acceptability
- Grace brings favour
- Grace brings joy into your life
- Grace brings liberality (a two-way channel, of giving and receiving into your life).
- Grace brings pleasure
- Grace brings gifts
There are those who think they need a double anointing or more anointing to function in higher levels of God’s glory. There is no place in the scripture that says that what you need is more grace. The life that God has brought us into is a life of grace heaped upon grace.
Take advantage of grace and maximize it in your life and ministry.
