DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know that Ancient China was the first country in the world that implemented a nationwide standardised test, which was called the imperial examination?
The imperial examination was established by the Sui Dynasty in 605 AD with the main purpose of selecting able candidates for specific government positions.
However, the word 'assessment' later came into use in the educational context after the Second World War (1939-1945). Educational assessment is the systematic process of documenting and using empirical data on the knowledge, skill, attitudes and beliefs of the test-taker to refine program and improve student learning.
At the International School of Ministry (ISM), participating ministers of the Gospel not only undergo written tests, they also have the opportunity to experience practical exercises of what they have learnt, such as soul-winning and evangelism exercises.
